Bellingrath Gardens // Flowers and Gardens and Fountains, Oh My! // Theodore, AL // JPB Photography by Jessica P. Banks

This is not my usual Sunday post :)  Instead of sharing a session, I’m sharing some personal photos from a recent adventure!  I’m going to try to do this more often.

I had the opportunity a few weekends ago to visit the Bellingrath Gardens in Theodore, Alabama (just South of Mobile).  To say that I was impressed would be an understatement.  The Gardens and the Home are absolutely amazing.  I wish they allowed photography inside the home – it is one of those places that you have to see to believe.

Anyway…. As I was taking in the gardens I was practicing with my 105mm macro lens.  Sure, I could have gotten a heck of a lot closer and into the pollen of the flowers with that lens, but I wanted to take in the flower so I can share it.

Here is a little look into my visit (and I say little because I have a million more photos!).  Fair warning, you may have seen 1 or 2 of these in recent posts!
